Godzilla! The polite name we refer to one of the US Custom's Officers. I say polite because we have many more names for this officer! The officer is terrible and many complaints have been filed against her.

Welcome heads-up to worthy front-page report . . . in The Detroit News, not the Free Press.

Though they share business operations and a downtown building under a federally approved Joint Operating Agreement, separate newsroom staffs produce separate editorial content.

Well, at least for now.

Don't forget about beef, lamb and chicken. I've had my lunch confiscated because of the no beef rule several times. I switched to lamb and that was taken as well. I was told that "any ruminant" animal meat would confiscated.

The chicken thing is because of the potential for the flu virus. I'm supposing that they're afraid that Canada will finally get the H5N1 perfected.

Personally, I think they're just after my Tupperware. Somebody must be collecting enough for a wedding present or something.

I used to sit in the front seat at the door. Missing the tunnel bus after 3 1/2 years. I have to drive to Royal Oak now. My commute is 1 1/4 hr minimum, one way, depending on customs. I take the bridge. They like my food too. They also like to know how much money I have on me. I have Nexus but it doesn't help. You still have the long line to wait in. I also have a problem with a bad bad Linda Jones from some where in the area who can not cross the border so I get pulled in frequently. I miss the jokes and laughter and stories we all shared on our rides. So many memories of 23 years of riding. Keep up the good work John.
