I've had my lunch confiscated because of the no beef rule several times. I switched to lamb and that was taken as well. I was told that "any ruminant" animal meat would confiscated. The chicken thing is because of the potential for the flu virus. I'm supposing that they're afraid that Canada will finally get the H5N1 perfected. Personally, I think they're just after my Tupperware. Somebody must be collecting enough for a wedding present or something. Don’t forget about beef, lamb and chicken.
